Qatar Declares a State of War in the Middle East

Majid al-Ansori, an official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, announced that a state of war exists in the Middle East region and that this situation could lead to serious consequences. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He made these remarks on March 10 while answering questions from journalists, as reported by tengrinews.kz.
According to the diplomat, Qatar has been consistently warning since 2023 that the escalation of tensions in relations with Iran poses a threat to the entire world. In his view, before any diplomatic negotiations begin, Iran must cease its attacks.
Al-Ansori accused Tehran of damaging civilian infrastructure in the Persian Gulf and beyond. He emphasized that these actions could not only increase risks within the region but also lead to a humanitarian crisis worldwide.
At the same time, he stated that any attack against Qatar would be met with an appropriate response. Following Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's apology to neighboring countries, Qatar had hoped that the attacks would cease.
However, the strikes continue. The Iranian government has repeatedly stated that its attacks are directed solely against US interests and considers American support in the region as an act of hostility.
In response, a representative of Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared that strategic ties with the United States and other defense partners would never be questioned. Currently, Patriot systems are defending the country together with American and European allies.
This security cooperation is regarded as a key means of protecting Qatar from any attacks.
