The Spartak football club of Moscow is working on strengthening the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club is particularly focused on reinforcing the defense line. According to reports, Spartak may offer two players for the central defender position.
Currently, defender Karlos Cuesta, who plays for Galatasaray, has a possibility of joining Spartak. However, even if this transfer takes place, the club will not stop negotiations with Saul Coco, who plays for the Torino team in the Italian championship.
Spartak intends to add this defender, who is a member of the Equatorial Guinea national team, to its ranks and is ready to wait until the transfer window closes, that is, until the end of August. According to reports, Saul Coco's transfer value is currently estimated at ten million euros.
The "Transfermarkt" portal has set this price. The player's contract in Turin is valid until the middle of 2028.
The Spartak team will hold its next match against Lokomotiv on August 9. The club's active actions in the transfer policy indicate that the team is seriously preparing for the new season.
