Russian experienced specialist Alexander Tarxanov expressed his opinion regarding the criticism of Russian clubs for excessive spending in his interview. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He emphasized that if a club has funds, it has the right to spend them as it wishes. According to Tarxanov, there is nothing wrong with the “Spartak” and “Zenit” teams allocating significant amounts for transfers.
He stated that he does not see any violations or wrongdoing in this situation. Currently, “Spartak” is in eleventh place in the league table after three rounds of the Russian championship, having accumulated four points.
The team will play its next match against “Lokomotiv” on August 9 away. In Tarxanov's opinion, it is important for each club to operate within its means and to properly allocate funds to achieve its set goals.
For this reason, it is a natural situation for clubs to invest heavily in transfers, and it is not right to criticize them for it. According to the specialist, football clubs should wisely utilize their financial capabilities and set clear goals for themselves.
