Manchester United is unlikely to complete the transfer of Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to sources, the Mancunians have met with those around the Cameroonian player to discuss the terms of cooperation. The player himself is not opposed to moving to a new team.
However, Brighton is valuing Baleba at a very high price. According to journalists, the English club plans to sell the young player for more than 100 million pounds sterling.
This is approximately equivalent to 115 million euros. The club is also not willing to consider lower offers.
Therefore, Manchester United's efforts regarding this transfer may not yield results. Carlos Baleba played in 34 matches in the English Premier League last season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
At the same time, despite being young, he has become one of the key players of the team. For now, the club's management continues to set a high price for the player.
