The Opta organization analyzed the games of the 20 teams in the championship for the first five rounds and identified the teams with the easiest and most difficult schedules. According to the analysis results, the most difficult schedule belongs to “Manchester United,” “Bournemouth,” and “Arsenal.”
In particular, “Manchester United” will start the season with games against “Arsenal,” “Fulham,” “Burnley,” “Manchester City,” and “Chelsea.” According to the Opta Power Rankings, this is considered the most difficult schedule.
“Arsenal,” on the other hand, will face “Manchester United” in the first round. After that, the “Gunners” will compete against “Leeds,” the English champions “Liverpool,” “Nottingham Forest,” and “Manchester City” following their trip to “Old Trafford.”
The easiest schedule has been assigned to London’s “Crystal Palace,” “Chelsea,” and “Aston Villa.” These teams will play against relatively weaker opponents in the first five rounds.
Thus, while the start of the new season is expected to be challenging for some teams, it is anticipated to be more favorable for others.
