PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is expressing dissatisfaction among those around him regarding the club's management's decision not to include him in the squad for the UEFA Super Cup match against Tottenham in London. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It has been revealed that negotiations for a new contract between Donnarumma and the club have hit a dead end. One of Donnarumma's friends stated in an interview with L'Equipe that he has worked hard for the club and helped the team win in the Champions League, but now he is facing such treatment.
According to him, the club would never have been able to compete in this tournament without Donnarumma's assistance. The match between PSG and Tottenham will take place on August 13 in Udine, Italy.
Additionally, the PSG management has indicated that Matvey Safonov will also not be able to be the main goalkeeper. Even if Donnarumma leaves the club, Safonov will not play in the starting lineup.
The club has offered him a chance to go on loan to another team or a full transfer. Thus, PSG is facing issues with goalkeepers, and this situation is causing various discontent within the team.
