“Liverpool” club forward Federico Chiesa may stay in the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Recently, there have been many reports about his potential transfer to another club. According to various sources, the Liverpool management planned to sell Chiesa, as the player wanted to return to Italy after experiencing a lack of success last season.
However, according to information provided by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Federico Chiesa recently had a direct conversation with the club's head coach Arne Slot. The coach expressed his confidence in him and stated that he wants to use Chiesa in the attacking line.
A similar response was also given to the player's agent by the club management. Additionally, if Federico Chiesa leaves the team, Liverpool's options for attacking players on the wings will be very limited.
For this reason, the plan is currently to keep the 27-year-old player in the team. The club management and coaching staff aim to use Chiesa as a key player in the starting lineup next season.
