Volk: It is still early to criticize Spartak

David Volk, the goalkeeper of Mahachkala's "Dinamo" team, defended Dejan Stankovich, the head coach of Moscow's "Spartak" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, it is too early to rush to criticize the team and the coach. Volk stated that only a few matches have been played so far, and it is natural to experience both ups and downs during this period.

He emphasized that there is time to correct all shortcomings and the team needs to strive forward. It should be noted that Moscow's "Spartak" club lost to the Mahachkala team in a penalty shootout in the second round of the group stage of the Fonbet Russian Cup.

The match took place on Tuesday evening. For reference, under Dejan Stankovich's leadership, "Spartak" has only won one of its last five matches.
