Nigerian footballer Chinonso Offor is currently playing for the Baltika team in Kaliningrad. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He moved to the Russian Premier League from the Bulgarian club Arda in June of this year. Offor shared his impressions of life in Russia.
According to the footballer, Russia reminds him of the United States in terms of its diversity. He emphasized that no matter which city he goes to, each place has its own unique and different environment.
Offor also talked about the vast distances in Russia. According to him, the team often has to fly by plane to get to games because the distances between cities are long.
Offor played in the American soccer league from 2021 to 2024. He has played for Chicago Fire and Montreal clubs.
This season, he has played in three matches for Baltika, scoring twice against the opponent's goal. Currently, the Baltika team is in fifth place in the Russian Premier League standings.
The team has accumulated eight points from four matches. Thus, Offor's activity in his new team is continuing successfully.
