The goalkeeper of the PSG team, Luka Shevalye, shared his thoughts after his first game with the Paris club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stepped onto the field for the first time in the UEFA Super Cup match against London's Tottenham. The young goalkeeper emphasized in his comments that it was not easy to take the place of an experienced goalkeeper and participate in the final in his first game.
According to him, fans and team members expected great results from him. Shevalye stated that he set a goal to achieve victories and win trophies with PSG.
He is 23 years old and was purchased from Lille at the beginning of the current season. PSG chose Luka Shevalye as the main goalkeeper of the team, as an agreement to extend the contract with the previous goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was not reached.
The club management is not considering the Russian Matvey Safonov as the main goalkeeper. Thus, Shevalye is trying to prove himself as PSG's goalkeeper and is striving to fulfill the tasks set before the club.
He stated that he will put all his effort into achieving high results within the team.
