Former CSKA player Dmitriy Homuxa shared his thoughts on what the Moscow club needs to do this season to win the championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the team's forwards seem weaker compared to other players because they do not always perform effectively. A high-level striker is necessary for the championship, the expert said in an interview with the "Sovetskiy sport" publication.
Homuxa emphasized that CSKA prefers to look for a striker abroad because purchasing a Russian player is much more expensive. In the first four rounds of the Russian Premier League, the "red-blue" team has collected eight points.
The team led by Fabio Celestini is currently in fourth place in the competition table. Thus, strengthening the team's attacking line and attracting a highly skilled player is an important factor for success this season.
