Former footballer Ivan Taranov, who previously played for CSKA, shared his thoughts on the participation of "Dinamo" player Ivan Sergeev in the upcoming capital derby. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
"Dinamo" and CSKA teams will face each other on August 16 in the fifth round of the Russian championship. The match is scheduled to start at 18:00 Moscow time.
According to Taranov, forwards are changeable and people who are under pressure. Therefore, it is uncertain how well Vanya Sergeev will be able to perform in the derby.
It was emphasized that currently CSKA is in good shape not only in attack but also in defense. This season, the 30-year-old forward has scored three goals and provided one assist in six matches.
Sergeev joined "Dinamo" this summer from Samarkand's "Krylya Sovetov" for 3.8 million euros. Fans are eagerly awaiting his performance in his new team.
