During the third round match of the MFL League Cup, a serious conflict arose between the teams "Alfa-Bank" and SKA. Euro-football.ru reported this.
The conflict occurred between Sergey Ovchinnikov, head coach of the Medialiga team, and Vasiliy Vakulenko, owner of the Rostov club, also known as Basta. This was reported by the "Neklassiko" TV channel.
When the score was 3:0 in favor of SKA, Basta used harsh words towards the opponent. Ovchinnikov responded sharply to him.
As a result, a verbal quarrel broke out between them, during which strong expressions were used. Basta insulted the opponent in his words, while Ovchinnikov in turn responded sharply and emphasized that at 55 years old, no one could match him.
During the conflict, both sides criticized each other. Later, Basta apologized to Ovchinnikov.
He stated that his actions were only driven by emotions and that he did not intend to insult anyone. At the end of the discussion, they shook hands and resolved the dispute peacefully.
This incident shows the intensity and strong competition of the match.
