Uzbekistan is heading to the World Cup: how was our players' performance evaluated?
The Uzbekistan national team secured a direct qualification for the World Cup to be held in 2026 in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. In a crucial match held in Abu Dhabi against the UAE, the score was 0:0. With this result, our team, led by Timur Kapadze, collected 18 points, maintained the first place in the group, and fulfilled long-awaited dreams.

In this match, the performance of our players was specifically evaluated by the "SofaScore" platform. The performance ratings of the players who took the field in Uzbekistan's main lineup were as follows:

Our goalkeeper O'tkir Yusupov was noted as the best player of the match with a score of 8.4. Yusupov's performance was highly rated by experts as he saved the team from several dangerous situations.

From our defense line, Khojiakbar Alijonov (7.4) stood out with his mobility and determination. Rustam Ashurmatov (7.1) and Husniddin Aliqulov (7.0) also acted reliably. Abduqodir Husanov (6.8) and Farrux Sayfiyev (6.8) managed to adequately counter the opponent's attacks during the game.

In the central line, Odil Hamrobekov scored 7.1, while Otabek Shukurov received 7.3. These two players played a crucial role in controlling our team's game and successfully repelled the opponent's attacks in several situations.

Among our attacking leaders, Jaloliddin Masharipov was the most active, scoring 7.5. Oston O'runov (6.5) and Eldor Shomurodov (6.1) also tried to put pressure on the opponent's defense, but today their shots could not find the net.

Substitutes who came onto the field, Abbosbek Fayzullayev scored 6.7, Hojimat Erkinov 6.5, Sherzod Nasrullayev 6.4, and Abdurauf Boriyev 6.3. After they entered the game, they helped increase the pace of our team's attacks.

Thus, today a new chapter was opened in the history of Uzbek football. Our team's next match, having secured the opportunity to participate in the World Cup, will be held on June 10 in Tashkent against the Qatar national team. This match is expected to turn into a small celebration for our team in front of its fans before the championship.

Once again, we congratulate our national team on this historic success!
