Koubek Chexiya terma jamoasini tark etdi

The Czech Football Association has officially announced that Miroslav Koubek has resigned as head coach of the national team. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
It was clarified that the contract was terminated by mutual agreement. The coach's departure was primarily due to the team's unsuccessful performance at the 2026 World Cup.
Miroslav Koubek took charge of the Czech national team recently, in December 2025. He aimed to quickly turn the team into a true national hero.
As a historic achievement, under Koubek, the Czechs defeated Ireland and Denmark in the playoff stage, securing qualification for the World Cup for the first time in 20 years. However, at the recently held World Cup, the Czech national team suffered a complete failure.
In the group stage, the team displayed weak performances, disappointing fans. After three matches, earning only one point, the team was forced to bid farewell to the tournament early.
The Czech national team's results in the group were as follows: In the first match, they lost 1:2 to South Korea.
In the second match, they drew 1:1 with South Africa. In the third match, they suffered a heavy 0:3 defeat to Mexico.
Following this disappointment in the group stage, Czech football leadership decided to end cooperation with Koubek. The brief Koubek era, which began with high hopes and expectations in the region, ended with this result at the World Cup.
Now, the Czech national team is forced to search for a new head coach. Source: one.uz
