Alejandro Garnacho did not take part in training to force a move to Chelsea

Chelsea's first team has begun training at their base ahead of the new season, Zamin.uz reports.
However, one of the squad's key players, Alejandro Garnacho, was absent from training. Despite joining Stamford Bridge just over a year ago, the Argentine winger has found himself pushing for a full exit during the summer transfer window.
This is reported by Goal.com. Chelsea's new head coach, Xabi Alonso, officially began work on Monday at the Cobham training base.
According to reports, the 22-year-old footballer has been granted permission to miss first-team training sessions. The decision is said to stem from the player's active negotiations regarding a move to another club.
At the same time, Chelsea's management is planning a radical overhaul of the attacking line, leaving Garnacho outside the club's future plans. It has become nearly certain that the player will not join the pre-season tour in Australia, which begins at the end of July.
Alejandro Garnacho transferred to Chelsea from Manchester United last year for a fee of £40 million. Despite high expectations and signing a five-year long-term contract, the Argentine has failed to make an impact at the London club.
Last season, he started only 14 out of possible matches in the English Premier League. His statistical output also fell short of expectations.
Although he scored eight goals in all competitions, he managed just one goal in 24 league appearances, making him one of the least productive forwards in the squad. This low efficiency has contributed to his gradual displacement in the pecking order.
Chelsea's leadership does not simply want to discard the player. They aim to recoup a significant portion of the investment made in him.
According to sources, the club has set a price of €50 million for the footballer. This would allow them to at least break even, if not profit, from the transfer.
The player is currently seeking a new club that can guarantee him regular playing time. His agents have been in contact with several European teams.
Chelsea has emphasized that they will only consider offers involving a full sale, ruling out any loan options at this stage. This situation forms part of a broader restructuring of the squad under the new regime.
Under Xabi Alonso's leadership, the new project expects only players who can prove their worth and fit into a team-oriented style to remain. Alejandro Garnacho's future is expected to be resolved in the coming weeks.
