The Melbet-First League club's press service announced that a long-term contract has been signed with the new player, but the exact duration has not been disclosed. Gaponov played for the "Strogino" club from 2015 to 2018, and then spent four years in the Moscow "Spartak" system.

From 2022 to 2025, he played as a defender for the "Krylya Sovetov" team in Samara. It is worth noting that the "Fakel" team will participate in Russia's second-tier league next season.
