In recent days, they have met twice in the capital of Catalonia. Since the beginning of 2023, Ronald Koeman has been managing the Netherlands national team. Joan Laporta has been serving as the president of "Barselona" since March 2021.

Koeman's position as head coach of "Barselona" was taken over by Xavi Hernandez. He managed the team until the end of the 2023/24 season.

Currently, negotiations are ongoing to improve relations between the club and the former coach, which could hold significant importance in the history of Catalan football in the coming years.
