On Friday, the head coach of the "Krasnodar" team, Murad Musayev, received the award for the best coach based on the results of the last season of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In commenting on this topic, former "Manchester United" player Andrey Kanchelskis emphasized that "Krasnodar's" championship victory was the main factor in Musayev's selection. However, the former player stated that he would have made a different choice for the best coach. According to Kanchelskis, it was necessary to recognize Marko Nikolić, who won the Russian Cup with the CSKA team and demonstrated consistent performance in the spring, as the best coach of the season.

He stated that consistency is a hallmark of excellence, while the "Krasnodar" team's performance has shown instability. For this reason, Kanchelskis considers Nikolić the best coach of the season. It should be noted that at the end of the season, Marko Nikolić unexpectedly left his position as head coach of CSKA.
