The president of the Russian Football Union (RFS), Alexander Dyukov, commented on the news that Tufan Sadiyev, an investor in the Podmoskovye "Khimki" club, has purchased 50 percent of the shares of the Turkish club "Serik Belediyespor." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The "Khimki" club did not obtain a license to participate in the next RPL season and has therefore initiated bankruptcy proceedings. According to Dyukov, it is hoped that in cases of bankruptcy in Russia, the club will settle all debts fully, which is considered a very important issue.
He also recommended that Russian citizens prioritize investing in national football. After Tufan Sadiyev purchased the shares, Sergey Yuran, the former head coach of "Khimki," was appointed as the head coach of the team.
Additionally, Ilya Sadiyev, the son of Sadiyev, joined the team participating in the Turkish second division, who also previously played for "Khimki." This event holds particular significance for Russian football fans and experts, as it is considered important for the further development of the country's football and strengthening ties with the foreign market.
