Former Moscow "Dynamo" striker and former head coach of several clubs in the Russian championship Igor Kolyvanov commented on the recognition of "Krasnodar" striker Jon Kordoba as the best player of the 2024/2025 RPL season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Colombian player became the Russian champion for the first time with his team. According to Kolyvanov, Kordoba rightfully deserves the title of the best player of the season.

He emphasized that Kordoba has often led the "Krasnodar" team forward during matches. At the same time, he had previously stated that Kordoba should be considered among the best players. In the 2024/2025 season, Kordoba played a total of 30 matches in the Russian championship and cup, scoring 13 goals and providing 7 assists.
