Guardiola commented on Abduqodir Husanov's impact on the team
Manchester City's head coach Pep Guardiola shared his thoughts on the new players who joined the team during a press conference held before the match against Tottenham. The Spanish specialist spoke about the debut games of Uzbek defender Abduqodir Husanov and his development.
Husanov joined the team at a difficult time
Guardiola commented on Abduqodir Husanov's adaptation process to the team:
"Husanov played against Chelsi, Leyton Orient, Newcastle, Real, and Liverpool. He joined the team at a difficult time. Considering he came from a mid-level club in France, it was certainly not easy for him to adapt to the high pace of the Premier League."
Challenges in communication and eagerness to learn quickly
Guardiola emphasized that Husanov's experience in English is not sufficient, which has affected his communication with the team.
"He doesn't speak English well yet. We are advising him to learn it faster because communication is crucial in football. But Husanov is a serious and quiet guy, so even when he learns the language well, I don't think he will talk much," the specialist humorously noted.

Guardiola particularly highlighted Abduqodir's reliable performance in defense and his contribution to the team.
"Husanov is playing a very important role. His preparation and strong character are benefiting us," Guardiola said.
About new transfers
Guardiola also commented on other players who joined the team – Omar Marmush, Niko Gonsales, and Vitor Reys.
"Marmush and Gonsales have less playing time so far, but they are showing themselves well. Vitor Reys needs to gain more experience; he will be a great help to the team in the future."
