The head coach of Moscow's Spartak football club, Deyan Stankovich, will not count on defender Nikita Chernov and winger Jesus Medina in the future. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

It has been revealed that on July 1, both players conducted separate training sessions from the main team. This decision was made specifically by Stankovich, who does not trust these players for the new season.

Nikita Chernov has been defending the honor of Spartak since 2022, while Jesus Medina joined the team in 2023. Last season, Chernov played in 13 matches and provided an assist for one goal.

Medina participated in 24 games, scoring three goals and providing three assists. The team management and coaching staff are striving to renew and strengthen the main lineup, which is why it has been decided not to continue with some players.

This decision aligns with the club's new strategy and aims to make the team even stronger in the new season. Stankovich aims to give opportunities to new players to make the team more competitive.

Additionally, the personal preparation of the players and their service to the club are considered the main criteria. As a result, it has become clear that Chernov and Medina will not have a place in the starting lineup for the new season.
