On Wednesday, the player held his first individual training session, journalist Mario Rios reports. The Danish player's goal is to get into the best shape by July 13 and compete for a spot in the starting lineup when preseason preparations begin.

Last season was challenging for Andreas, as he only played in six matches due to constant injuries. The 29-year-old player's contract with the "blue-purple" team lasts for another year.

There have been rumors in the media about Kristensen leaving Barcelona soon. It is said that Juventus and representatives from the Saudi Arabian league are interested in his services.
