The death penalty will be reviewed again in the KDK

Forward Vladimir Pisarvskiy has been disqualified for four years by the decision of the Ethics Committee of the Russian Football Union. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

His punishment was imposed due to involvement in match-fixing. Although the actual disqualification was set for one year, the remaining three years constitute a conditional penalty.

The case against Pisarvskiy is still being reviewed by the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union, so there is a possibility of an increased penalty. This was stated by RFU Secretary General Maxim Mitrofanov.

According to Mitrofanov, his participation is currently under full investigation and this will continue within the authority of the KDK. Indirect participation in match-fixing is prohibited, and Pisarvskiy's involvement has been proven.

He lent money to a friend, who then placed a bet on a team that was involved in a match-fixing incident. Earlier, the Russian Football Union had explained in detail the reasons for Vladimir Pisarvskiy's disqualification.
