Denil Maldonado may soon move to Rubing

Honduras national team player Denil Maldonado may soon join the Rubin football club in Kazan. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Journalist Ivan Karpov announced this on his Telegram channel. Maldonado plays as a central defender.

The Rubin club will have to pay one million euros for the player. The contract duration will be four years.

Next week, the player is scheduled to undergo a medical examination. Last season, the 27-year-old player appeared in 38 matches for Romania's Universitatea club, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

His national team reached the quarter-finals in the CONCACAF tournaments, making it among the top four teams of the tournament. The competitions will conclude on July 7.

Maldonado's transfer to the Rubin club will help strengthen the team's defense line.
