The club's press service provided this information. The 35-year-old young specialist signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the club, which will be valid until the end of 2026.
Davide Ancelotti's father, Carlo Ancelotti, was recently appointed as the head coach of the Brazil national team. He has worked alongside his son in the coaching staffs of Real Madrid, Everton in England, Napoli in Italy, and PSG in France.
Botafogo is currently the champion of Brazil. The club participated in the 1/8 final stage of the Club World Cup but was eliminated from the competition after losing to a strong opponent, Palmeiras.
