Bahrain is organizing a friendly match with Russia

Mohammed Abdulgaffar, the press secretary of the Bahrain Football Association, commented on the possibility of organizing a friendly match against the Russian national team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the Russian Football Union has contacted them about holding a friendly match next September. However, the head coach of the Bahrain team has not yet chosen any of the proposed options.

It should be noted that the Russian national team has been banned from international competitions since February 2022. Therefore, the team led by Valery Karpin can only participate in friendly matches.

In their last match, Russian players defeated the Belarus national team with a significant score of 4:1. This information was provided by the Sport24 publication.
