Former Argentina national team striker Karlos Teves has been appointed as the head coach of 'Talleres' club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The team's official website announced this. 'Talleres' finished the first half of the current season — Apertura — in the fourteenth position in one of the two groups of the championship.
The team was previously managed by local specialist Diego Cocca. Throughout his career, Karlos Teves has played for prestigious clubs such as 'Manchester United', 'Manchester City', 'Boca Juniors', 'Juventus', and 'Shanghai Shenhua'.
Additionally, he has also been active in other less well-known teams. After transitioning to coaching, Teves worked at 'Rosario Central' and 'Independiente', but did not achieve significant results there.
In his new position, he aims to lead the 'Talleres' team to higher achievements.
