The famous Russian poet and supporter of the Moscow "Torpedo" football club, Aleksandr Shaganov, commented on the decision of the Russian Football Union (RFS) to expel this club from the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Currently, the issue of dissolving the team and only maintaining the children's and youth school is being discussed. Shaganov emphasized that he strongly disagrees with the decision made regarding "Torpedo" and criticized the actions of the RFS leadership.
He stated that the decision to dissolve the team should only be made by the fans, as the club exists specifically for them. Furthermore, according to the poet, there are several uncertainties in this matter, the most important being that the events are being discussed too late and that only now is there a stir regarding the team.
According to Shaganov, it is necessary to take into account the opinions of all parties involved in this process.
