The head coach of the Krasnodar team, Murad Musayev, shared his thoughts on the friendship between goalkeepers Matvey Safonov and Stanislav Agkatsev. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that such a relationship between two individuals competing for the same position is rare. This situation is based on the idea that neither of them acts unfairly against each other and works hard.
Safonov and Agkatsev are considered advanced students of the Krasnodar football academy. Until last year, they played in the same team, namely for Krasnodar.
Then, Safonov transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for 20 million euros. The Russian goalkeeper won four trophies with the prestigious French team during one season and may soon achieve victory in the World Club Championship.
