
The "Bayer" club in Leverkusen, Germany, has signed a contract with striker Kristian Kofane, who played for the Spanish team "Albasete." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The deal with the 18-year-old Cameroonian player lasts for four years. Kofane has played for "Albasete" over the past year.
Previously, he played for the youth team of Cameroon's "AS Nilon." According to Transfermarkt, "Bayer" paid 5 million euros for the new player.
Last season, Kofane participated in 20 matches for "Albasete." In those games, he scored eight goals and provided one assist.
At the end of the Bundesliga season, the "Bayer" team was unable to defend the championship title, which was awarded to the "Bavaria" club.
