Rui Koşta has announced his intention to participate in the presidential elections of Benfica. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He has been serving in this position as the interim president until now. The reason for this is that in July 2021, Luish Filipe Vieira was arrested on charges of tax evasion.
The election for the president of the Lisbon club will take place on October 25. Four other candidates have also officially registered for this position.
