At the beginning of July, forward Anton Zabolotny joined the "Spartak" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Moscow club signed a labor contract with the 34-year-old footballer for one season. Valeriy Kechinov, a former player of the "red-white" team, shared his thoughts on Zabolotny's future.
According to Kechinov, it will be somewhat difficult for Anton to play at "Spartak" because "Spartak" football is more focused on actions in the lower area. Zabolotny, on the other hand, prefers playing styles such as heading the ball and putting the opponent under pressure in the second tier.
Therefore, he does not expect to have a permanent place in the starting lineup of the team. However, Kechinov expresses hope that Zabolotny will be able to help the team.
He emphasized that Anton will be particularly necessary in situations where simpler tactics are required, such as playing with high passes. In the first round of the next season, "Spartak" will host the "Dinamo" team from Makhachkala.
The match will take place on July 19, Saturday.
