Iranian Commander: The US Needs to Withdraw from the Middle East for Peace

The commander of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran, Alireza Tangsiri, made an important statement regarding peace and stability in the Middle East region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, one of the main obstacles to establishing complete peace in the region today is the military bases of the United States in the countries around the Persian Gulf. The commander emphasized that if the international community and regional countries truly want to achieve stability, Washington's military forces must withdraw from these areas.
The attempt of external forces to control the situation solely through military involvement without resolving their mutual disagreements is deepening the problems. The Iranian representative also recalled that his country has repeatedly warned several Persian Gulf countries.
In his opinion, the US does not hesitate to sacrifice the security of regional partners in order to protect its geopolitical interests. This undermines the trust environment in the region and complicates future cooperation.
Alireza Tangsiri drew attention to another serious issue. He announced that Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has pre-approved military response measures to be taken in case of possible attacks.
Thus, if the US or Israel strikes, Iran will have a prepared and clear action plan. The commander also expressed his opinion on Washington's strategic calculations.
American experts consider a military operation against Iran to be short-term and believe it will not have a significant impact on the region. However, Tangsiri emphasized that these views are incorrect and result from a lack of full understanding of the situation.
According to the Iranian official, any small conflict arising in the region can pose a serious threat to the security of the entire Middle East. Therefore, reducing the military presence of external forces and resolving problems through direct dialogue between local states is the most appropriate solution.
This path serves to achieve long-term peace in the region and prevent new conflicts.
