The head director of the "Spartak" club in the capital, Oleg Malyishev, provided information about the transfer of Artyom Dzyuba, a forward from the "Akron" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, Dzyuba was not on Spartak's long list. Malyishev, as a long-time Spartak fan, remembers Artyom and his performances at the club well.
However, he emphasized that there is currently no possibility of his appearance in the squad. Last season, the 36-year-old Dzyuba scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 22 matches in the Russian Premier League.
His current contract with the "Akron" club in Tolyatti is set until the middle of 2026. Therefore, the rumors about his transfer to Spartak do not reflect reality.
The club management and transfer policy are seriously considering such changes, but for now, Dzyuba's name is not on the list. This situation should be clear and understandable for fans and the team.
