Nikolaev: The Kherson transfer only brings positive emotions

Former football player Andrey Nikolayev, who played as a forward for St. Petersburg's Zenit team, shared his thoughts on the transfer of Brazilian Jerson to the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He stated that this transfer evokes only positive emotions. Nikolayev did not watch Jerson in the Club World Championship, but emphasized that he had a good impression after watching a compilation of his best games.

He mentioned that the significant amount spent by the Zenit team is not in vain. Jerson signed a contract with the "sine-belo-goluboylar" team on July 13.

The transfer fee is estimated to be around 25 million euros. In the last season, Jerson played a total of 28 matches in all club tournaments, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists.

These statistics clearly demonstrate his contribution to the team. Thus, Jerson is expected to significantly strengthen the attacking line of the Zenit team.
