Pavel Meleshin, the forward of the Sochi team, did not hide his joy regarding the return of Robert Moreno to the position of head coach of the southern club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that Moreno was one of the coaches who invited him to the team, and his staying brought him great happiness. In an interview with Matc TV, Meleshin, a former forward of Moscow Spartak, emphasized that it was Moreno who provided him with playing practice.
It is worth noting that Moreno left the Sochi team after the first playoff match against Pari NN in the last season of the Russian second division championship. However, it later became known that he returned to the position of head coach.
Moreno has been managing Sochi since the winter of 2024. Last season, the team secured fifth place in the Russian second division league.
