The chairman of the management board of Moscow's "Lokomotiv" team, Yuri Nagornix, called the "railway workers" one of the best clubs in Russia. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his opinion, the main strength of the current team lies in the combination of experienced players with youth. According to Nagornix, the club has always held an important place in Russian football and will continue to remain a major team in the future.
He also emphasized that "Lokomotiv" should not be seen solely as a donor club for youth development. It is important to have experienced players alongside the development of young footballers in the club.
In the 2024/2025 season, "Lokomotiv" secured sixth place in the tournament table. Ahead of the new season, the team added Nikolay Komlichenko, one of the former top scorers of "Rostov," to its ranks.
He was previously approached by "Spartak," which will contribute to the strengthening of the team. "Lokomotiv" is also striving to strengthen its position in Russian football in the future.
