Russian football agent Dmitriy Selyuk expressed his thoughts on the return of Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Markus Vendel to the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Brazilian player did not participate in any of the club's training camps as he was on national duty. According to Selyuk, in response to the question of whether Vendel would be fined for missing the camps, he emphasized that this would not happen and they would consider it a normal situation.
He also mentioned that the team had tried to sell the player, but since they were unable to do so, he returned to the club. Last season, the 27-year-old player played a total of 27 matches in all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 13 assists.
His market value is estimated at 13 million euros.
