Ter Stegen will not leave Barcelona due to health reasons

Currently, ter Stegen and the doctors are looking for the best solution between conservative treatment and surgical intervention. If surgery is performed, the goalkeeper is expected to be sidelined for about four months, according to the Spanish publication Sport.

For this reason, Mark-Andre ter Stegen will not leave "Barcelona" this summer. He is trying to recover his health and may start looking for a new team in the winter season.

This will help him gain regular playing practice ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
