Left-back Junior Firpo has joined Sevilla's "Betis" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was announced by the press service of the latest Liga conference finalists. Firpo is 28 years old, he is a citizen of the Dominican Republic and plays for the national team.
His last club before moving to "Betis" was "Leeds," where he played for four years. Previously, Firpo played for "Barcelona," having been bought from "Betis" for 20 million euros in 2019.
Two years later, he was sold to "Leeds." Last season, "Betis" finished sixth in La Liga, accumulating 60 points and qualified for the Europa League.
Thus, the team has the opportunity to continue its activities on the international stage.
