A new large-scale project has started in Uzbekistan aimed at developing local industry and providing environmentally friendly products for the population. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In Fergana region, modern air purifier devices will be produced in cooperation with Chinese investors. This was announced by the press service of the regional administration.
According to information, during the practical visit of the Fergana region delegation to the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China, a number of important agreements were reached. In particular, a project to produce pharmaceutical products and air purifier devices will be implemented on an area of over 52 hectares in the "Fergana – new opportunities" special industrial zone in Furqat district.
The Chinese company Gascia-Aksu Alliance is the main initiator of the project implementation. The company will not only build factories but also attract major entrepreneurs from China, focusing heavily on producing export-oriented products.
The local authorities promise full support to investors and to create the necessary conditions. From an ecological perspective, the project is also of great importance.
In major cities of the country, especially in Tashkent, air quality often exceeds the norm. In winter, the operation of heating systems, and in summer, climate change and desertification processes further worsen air pollution.
According to experts, air purifier devices produced locally can play an important role in protecting the health of the population. Additionally, Chinese partners will actively participate in building a new industrial zone in Tashkent region, creating modern "smart" logistics warehouses, and developing online platforms that facilitate customs clearance in the country.
Experts emphasize that these joint projects will not only bring economic benefits but also further enhance Uzbekistan's international investment reputation. This will make a significant contribution to the country's industrial and ecological development.
