In the city of Samarkand, the Elholding company has started producing three-wheeled sanitary motorcycles designed for waste collection under the Eldosh brand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Approximately 100 new jobs have been created at the enterprise as part of this new project. According to the Waste Management Agency, the scooters being produced come in two types: gasoline and electric motor.
The gasoline scooters can carry up to one ton of waste over a distance of 100 kilometers with a fuel consumption of 6 liters of gasoline. The electric scooters are equipped with a 150-ampere, 72-volt battery and can transport one ton of cargo over distances ranging from 60 to 80 kilometers.
These scooters can easily maneuver through narrow streets in city neighborhoods and are designed for efficient waste transportation. This project not only helps protect the environment but also creates new job opportunities for the local population.
The equipment produced in Samarkand will help improve the waste management system in the city and surrounding areas.
