Chinese scientists have started working on a program that translates animal sounds into human language
One of China's leading technology companies, Baidu, is developing an AI-based translator that can identify the needs and emotions of animals through their sounds and behaviors. The patent for this innovative technology was discovered by journalists from the South China Morning Post.

The system uses artificial intelligence to analyze sound signals, physical movements, and biological changes observed in animals. This could facilitate communication between humans and their pets.

It should be noted that this technology does not yet promise direct word-for-word communication in the style of "Doctor Dolittle." However, through this system, it will be possible to understand if pets are hungry, uncomfortable, or seeking their owner's attention. The translator determines information by studying the tone of animal sounds, body posture, behavior, and other important signs.

It is also important to note that this is not the first research in this field. For example, a device that interprets dog sounds was developed by Japanese scientists, and this invention was recognized by Time magazine as one of the best inventions of 2002. However, these projects have not yet reached full perfection.

If Baidu can successfully implement this project, it could be a significant achievement for pet owners. They will have the opportunity to better understand the needs and moods of their beloved friends and establish closer connections with them.

So far, there has been no information on what stage this technology is at and when it will be put into practice. However, the emergence of such technologies indicates that it could open a new chapter in the relationship between humans and animals in the future.
