Russian-speaking participants began the next scientific work in an open community.

Roscosmos State Corporation's live broadcast indicates that specialists are expected to spend more than five hours in open space. This important procedure involves performing technical work on the station's exterior and continuing scientific research.
For Expedition Commander Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, this spacewalk marks his second such activity, while flight engineer Sergey Mikaev is making his first exit into open space.
Assisting them from inside the station is Andrey Fedyaev, who is monitoring operations from the European robotic arm control console, coordinating the actions of his colleagues outside.
This teamwork ensures the station's safety and the precise execution of assigned tasks. Mission participants have been given a series of complex scientific and technical tasks to perform in the station's modules.
One of the main objectives is to install new experimental equipment on the Zvezda service module and integrate it into the overall system. These devices will be used to study various illuminations in open space and monitor solar activity.
Such research will provide important data for future long-distance spaceflight. Additionally, clad in special protective suits, the cosmonauts will proceed to the Nauka laboratory module to collect cassettes with exposed materials located there.
In the final stage, a container with biological equipment installed on the Poisk module will be brought inside the station. All heavy-lifting and installation operations will be carried out using a specially designed robotic mechanical arm.
Such operations serve to once again test the capabilities of modern technologies in the conditions of open space.
