Image generation in Google Gemini app is now free

Google has announced a major update to its Gemini AI app, reported by Zamin.uz.
Users in the United States can now create personalized images using the Nano Banana technology completely free of charge. Previously, this feature was available only to paid Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers.
This is reported by Techcrunch.com. The update brings Gemini’s capabilities to a new level.
Users no longer need to write detailed descriptions of their interests, hobbies, or appearance. The AI will automatically generate images tailored to the user based on their data from the Google ecosystem.
The system uses information linked to services such as Gmail, Google Photos, YouTube, and Search. For example, if a user asks, “Draw an image reflecting my favorite hobbies,” Gemini will recall from past searches and interactions that they enjoy drinking coffee or cooking, and generate an image accordingly.
Thanks to integration with Google Photos, users no longer need to manually upload their images. Gemini can pull existing photos from cloud storage to create characters that closely resemble the user.
This feature is optional, and users control which apps they grant access to. Google emphasizes user privacy, allowing the feature to be turned off at any time.
Users can switch from personalized mode to standard mode using a special toggle in the settings menu. Currently, this feature is expanding beyond the U.S. to markets in India and Japan.
The company plans to roll out further updates for Gemini in the near future, including a daily briefing feature, a refreshed and simplified interface, integration with the Gemini Omni video model, and a personal AI agent called Gemini Spark.
According to Google, the monthly active user count for the Gemini chatbot has already surpassed 750 million, confirming its position as one of the leading AI platforms.
Uzbekistan users can also expect these features to be gradually rolled out, making everyday digital tasks even easier.
