Conflict between Elon Musk and Sam Altman intensifies due to "Apple" claim

Competition between leading figures in the world of technology has reached a new level. Zamin.uz reported on this.
The long-standing disagreement between billionaire Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has flared up again due to a lawsuit filed by Apple. This conflict covers not only artificial intelligence systems but also issues of industrial espionage and the establishment of data storage and processing centers in space.
The situation escalated further when Apple filed a lawsuit against OpenAI. According to the claim, OpenAI illegally used Apple's trade secrets, drawings of electronic components, and information regarding the structure of future devices.
One of the most serious allegations is that more than four hundred of Apple's experienced employees have defected to OpenAI. According to reports, one of the former design heads requested candidates during the hiring process to bring samples of Apple-owned spare parts with them.
Responding to these reports, Elon Musk accused Sam Altman on his social media page of taking fraud to an entirely new level. In Musk's view, OpenAI has completely abandoned its initial non-profit goals and turned to accumulating wealth by appropriating the intellectual property of other companies.
Sam Altman did not leave these criticisms unanswered. He criticized Musk's plan to create data centers in space as part of the SpaceX project.
According to Altman, Musk is offering investors short-term projects that are impossible to implement. In response, Elon Musk announced that the launch of data centers in space will begin as early as next year.
SpaceX has already presented the satellite that forms the basis of the Star-mind project. These devices possess extremely high computing power and are equipped with a liquid cooling system and a protective shell against micrometeorites.
The devices receive energy via massive solar panels. This project is being evaluated as a huge step toward creating an independent artificial intelligence infrastructure in space.
As a reminder, the conflict between Musk and Altman began in 2018. At that time, Musk, one of the founders of OpenAI, attempted to take control of the company's management, but after receiving a refusal, he left the project.
Later, the company's transition to a commercial direction caused sharp objections from Musk. The current situation indicates that the uncompromising struggle between the two billionaires will continue for a long time.
