The year 2026 has been declared the year of training young people in modern professions in our country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the new generation must not only adapt to the times but also be prepared for future demands. He emphasized the importance of young people acquiring modern knowledge and new professions.
According to data, 30-35 billion dollars of investments are attracted to the country's economy annually. Based on these funds, thousands of new enterprises are launched, creating more than 250-300 thousand high-paying jobs.
These opportunities especially provide new jobs for young people. However, to succeed in these positions, young people must master modern technologies, know foreign languages, and possess the necessary professional skills.
The year 2026 is planned to be the year of establishing the Vocational Education Agency. The agency will operate in 598 technical schools to create an environment that meets international standards and to introduce new educational programs.
Additionally, cooperation will be established with leading educational institutions from countries such as Germany, Switzerland, China, Korea, and Britain in 100 technical schools. Through this collaboration, the most advanced programs will be implemented.
Youth will have the opportunity to confirm their professional qualifications through international certificates. Starting from the current academic year, the BITEK international program has been launched in 14 technical schools in cooperation with the British company Pearson.
Within this program, young people will acquire professions in high demand in fields such as tourism, medicine, information technology, construction, energy, logistics, mechanical engineering, biotechnology, and the creative economy. Next year, 456 large projects worth 45 billion dollars are expected to be implemented in the industry.
A dual education system will be introduced based on the "Investor – network – technical school" chain. A competition will be held to establish modern workshops in cooperation with enterprises, and winners will be provided with modern equipment.
The coverage of dual education will be increased fivefold. In addition, enterprises will be incentivized, and social payments for students studying under dual education will be reduced by half.
Foreign language lessons in technical schools will be increased fourfold. This will help young people master new technologies and communicate freely with foreign investors.
Moreover, a new digital platform will be launched next year. Through this platform, information about the qualifications and skills of technical school graduates will be available to local and foreign employers.
Thus, the preparation of young people for the future and the opportunities to acquire modern professions in the country are expanding (source: zamin.uz).
