On February 28, in the Upper Chirchiq district of Tashkent region, thousands of residents were left without gas supply due to a gas leak, reported the press service of "Hududgazta’minot".
The accident occurred as a result of damage to a high-pressure gas pipeline by an excavator. As a result, gas interruptions were observed in the following areas:
- 2,500 residents
- 7 large consumers
- The neighborhoods of "Ko‘rsay", "Navro‘z", "Jambul", and "Qizil Emak"
Emergency service personnel are working at the scene. Officials apologized to the residents for the inconveniences caused.
Previously, in Samarkand, thousands of households were left without gas supply due to damage caused by a truck to a high-pressure gas pipeline.
